In a coffee shop line all kinds of things happen, even more than you might expect. What if I told you that what happens in this line can explain some of the strangest phenomena in quantum physics? A very good example is quantum superposition. The doubts that come up while we’re waiting to order have quite a few similarities with this quantum phenomenon.

Below I’ve left the video I submitted to the science communication video contest “OnZientzia”, where I explain what exactly two things that seem so different have in common, and how: choosing breakfast and quantum superposition. On top of that, I won the BasQ Award for “Best Quantum Video”!
